Once upon a time, not long ago, there was a small, 'parish pump' tabloid newspaper called The Karen'gata Chronicle, dedicated to the shenanigans, serious as well as humorous, in Karen, Langata and neighbouring suburbs of Nairobi. It recorded these happenings for 21 years.
Times have moved on, and The Chronicle with them. Now we are daily and digital, but although the format has changed, the motivation is the same - a voice and mirror for suburbs' residents, a community newspaper.
Together we can explore its potential and produce a website that is important and useful to the community, and perhaps fun to read.
You can help us by logging-in regularly, by telling all your friends about us, and by telling us what is happening in the area. Make us part of your family. We never sleep.

May your days be happy and your nights peaceful.
We are going through a period of turmoil. As we do so, we should bear in mind three things - thanks that so far most of the community has been spared physical damage; an active sympathy for those less fortunate, and the determination to help those less fortunate in any way we can.
